Our boxes have arrived!!

Well, almost......!
Yesterday we had to go to Customs in Montreal to hand over a manifesto to declare our belongings. The ship arrived on Thursday and the cargo was due to be unloaded yesterday.
This meant that our removal company would get the message quickly that Customs had cleared our stuff and could pick it up and deliver it.

We both forgot our cameras, so that was good.... :(

Still, today we woke up to a rather heavy dusting of snow. Everything was white - and still is.
This is the little wooded area outside our back door:

In the afternoon we went out to buy Jérémie some new shoes for the snow. Apparently they are able to withstand temperatures as low as -40°C. Not sure whether he will though!!!!

Then we drove around and had a look at the snow:

This is the entrance to one of the walkways which goes around Victoriaville. One can walk/cycle for miles and in the winter you can do cross country skiing!!

This one is now my screensaver:

That's all for now!
