Last Saturday we were invited to dinner with Jérémie's old landlady, Lucie. She had just bought a Christmas tree and made sure she decorated it before we arrived so that Indiana could see it.
Lucie told us where she bought her tree so yesterday I went and bought one from the same place.
There was a choice of specially grown ones or 'wild' ones which are just chopped down in private woods. I chose one of the latter.
Got it home and because it was covered in snow I left it outside until the snow had melted. About 4 hours later I realised that snow doesn't melt when it's -16°C outside...!
We brought the tree inside and decorated it after Indiana had gone to bed so that she would wake up to a surprise.
When Indiana woke up she actually walked straight past the tree...
But then she spotted it and later helped to add some finishing touches:
I can't wait to see her reaction when she sees the gifts that Santa leaves her... ;-)
